Example: HypertermSetting up the WLAN Location Engine 2340To setup the Location Engine, follow the below procedures:Determining WLE2340 IP Address and Administration URLTo determine the initial WLE2340 IP address and administration URL, you can do the following:1 Connect the provided Serial Cable to the appliance and machine which is running the appropriateterminal emulation software (Example: Hyperterm, Minicom).2 Set the terminal software configuration as follows:• Baud rate: 9600• Data Bits: 8• Parity: None• Stop Bits: 1• Flow Control: None3 At the login prompt, enter the username admin and at the console prompt, password is not required.4 At the command prompt, type the command ‘show interface eth0’.5 Record the IP address (eth0 network interface) displayed.Logging to WLE2340 via Initial Administration GUIThe WLE2340 Administration uses Web-based interfaces, that allows you to configure and maintain the WLE2340.
