468 Command Reference/boot Boot MenuThe Boot menu is used for managing software versions, and to shutdown,reboot, or reset the configuration of a particular VPN Gateway. To use theBoot menu, you must be logged in as the Administrator user.[Boot Menu]software - Software management menuhalt- Halt the iSDreboot - Reboot the iSDdelete - Delete the iSDDuring normal operations, when you are connected through Telnet orSSH to the Management IP (MIP) address, all VPN Gateways in thecluster are up, and cluster communications are working as expected, youcan halt, reboot, or delete a VPN Gateway using the commands in theiSD Host menu. For more information on iSD Host menu options, see“/cfg/sys/host iSD Host Configuration” (page 423).If the VPN Gateway you want to halt, reboot, or delete has becomeisolated from the cluster, you can connect to that particular VPN Gatewayeither through Telnet or SSH (using the NVG ’s individually assigned IPaddress), or use a console connection to perform the halt, reboot,or delete commands from the Boot menu instead.
