For details on installing the Web browser, seeChapter 4, “Documentation, third-party applications, and what to do next,” onpage 67.Installing the Instant Internet workstation software from the CDTo install the Instant Internet workstation software from the CD:1 Insert the BayStack Instant Internet Software and Documentation Version 7.11CD into the CD-ROM drive.The Instant Internet installation dialog box opens (Figure 2 on page 33).2 Click Install Instant Internet.3 Enter a destination directory where you want the Instant Internet installationsoftware to reside.By default, the first available network drive is displayed. Instant Internet alsoprovides a default directory name (for example, f:\instinet). You shouldchange the drive to a local drive.4 Click OK.5 Continue with step 5 on page 64 and select whether or not to install theadministration utilities on this workstation.Note: If either the winsock.dll or wsock32.dll files are in use, therename process fails. Instant Internet will be unable to copy the neededversion of these files to your workstation, and you will not be able to runInstant Internet. If this happens, uninstall Instant Internet (page 73), closeall applications that may be using these files (including virus protectors),and restart your workstation before you attempt to install the InstantInternet workstation software again.
