If dataport TN information exists for the terminal, it isautomatically relocated when the telephone is relocated.When a telephone is relocated-out, a relocation block is built to store therelocation information in the protected data area. The relocation blockincludes the old TN, the terminal ID information, the serial number of thetelephone, and other information.This feature uses the unique serial number and terminal ID of the M2000Series Meridian Digital Telephone to identify the terminal being relocatedand to reduce the number of manual steps needed for relocation.See Automatic Set Relocation in X11 Features and Services (553-3001-306)for complete details.How to relocate an M2000 Series Meridian Digital Telephone1 Go off-hook, receive dial tone, and enter Relocation Code (either SPRE+81 or Flexible Feature Code).2 Enter optional security code as defined in OVL 15 (a burst of toneconfirms that the telephone is relocated-out).3 Take it to the new location and plug it in (a confirmation buzz from thespeaker indicates the telephone is in service).
