Up to eight radioscan be assigned to a cell. A radio cannot be assigned to more than one cell, andreassigning a radio to a new cell automatically deletes the radio from its formercell.Before activating the wireless system, you may have to program the antennasettings or the System Access Logical Identifier.A five-digit number identifies each radio. The first four digits indicate the cardand unit number (ccuu) associated with the Base Station. The last digitindicates the number of the radio on that Base Station, 1 or 2.“Setting the antenna type for a radio” on page 87 applies to sites that are usingone or more external antennas. The procedure described in “Setting theSystem Access Logical Identifier” on page 88 is optional and applies only toa small number of sites.Setting the antenna type for a radioYou must tell the system when an external antenna is installed or removed.
