Additional call features116Overriding a busy signalUse the Override feature to override a busy signal and interrupt anothercall.To override a busy or engaged signal:Using Privacy ReleaseUse the Privacy Release feature so that one or more people who shareyour DN can join a call.To use Privacy Release in an established state:1. Dial a phone number and receive a busysignal.2. Choose one of the following:— Tap the Override soft key.— Enter the Override FFC. The peoplein the targeted call receive a tone forapproximately one second. After theOverride feature joins you to the call,a short tone repeats every 16seconds.3. To terminate the call, press theGoodbye key.Tap the Privacy Release soft key duringa call. Parties join the call by tapping theshared number (DN) soft key on theirphones (Multiple Appearance DNfeature).
