TheDFC connects to the DVCs through the PCM Expansion Bus (PEB) cable. Thiscable must be connected from the DFC to each DVC. The PEB cable connects theDFC to the DVC to share the ports connected to Norstar.The following section provides step-by-step instructions for the installation of theFAX software, a DFC and the PEB cable in a Norstar Voice Mail system equippedwith Digital Voice Cards (DVC)s.
