9Receiving a callReceiving a callAnswering a callWhen your telephone rings, your correspondent's name is displayed on the screen. Ifthe name is not available, the number is displayed.• Lift the handset: you are in communica-tion with your correspondent.or• Press the Handsfree key: the call is setup with no need to pick up the handset.Speak over the microphone.or• Press the flashing Line key.Note: While on an active call, you can activate Handsfree mode. This disables thehandset receiver and allows you to hang up the handset receiver without terminatingthe call.Diverting a callIf you do not wish to answer a call, you can divert it to another internal number(extension or voice mail).1.
