17No load bearing. Do not use the pump to support otheritems of equipment that impose unacceptable loads onthe pump. Do not attempt to use this machine as a prop.Lock trigger safety latch when not spraying. Spraygun is equipped with a built-in trigger safety latch toguard against accidental trigger release. Rotate safetylatch to the locked position when not spraying.Leaving unattended. Always turn off the pressurewasher and relieve system pressure before leaving thesprayer unattended.Prompt Emergency ResponseSeek medical aid for suspected injection injury. Ifinjured by high-pressure fluid, no matter how small thewound is, see a doctor at once. A typical injection injurymay be a small puncture wound that does not lookserious. However, severe infection or reaction can resultif proper medical treatment is not administeredimmediately by a doctor who is familiar with injectioninjuries.Seek medical aid for suspected carbon monoxidepoisoning. The running engine gives off carbonmonoxide, a poisonous gas that can kill you. If you startto feel sick, dizzy, or weak while using the pressurewasher, shut off the engine and get to fresh air RIGHTAWAY. See a doctor. You may have carbon monoxidepoisoning.Put on Personal Protective GearWARNING: Personal Protective GearUse personal protective gear to prevent:- Eye and skin injection injury from high pressurespray- Eye injury from flying debris1. Wear waterproof gloves, safety glasses with side andtop protection, face protection, and protective clothingwhen operating the machine. If spraying pressurewasher specific chemicals, wear a respirator mask toavoid inhalation of vapors if directed on the chemicallabel.2. Wear non-slip, protective footwear. Use of pressurewasher can create puddles and slippery surfaces.Wear footwear capable of maintaining a good grip onwet surfaces.Preparing for OperationMake sure that any regular maintenance has beenperformed as prescribed in “Maintenance & Repair”section.Check/Add Oil to PumpCAUTIONNever run the pump without sufficient lubrication!1. Check oil level. Verify that oil level is half way up thesight glass (or at the indicator line on the dipstick).2.
