Safety information (US) 19ConnectionAttention: Do not move the machine yourself. If you wish to move the machine,contact Customer Service.We recommend you connect only those products which meet the (inter)nationalproduct safety and radio frequency interference standards, and that you use anattachment cable as specified by Océ.■ If for any reason you have to move the machine yourself, please make surethat the mains power point has the proper fuse capacity. See the OcéTCS400 safety data sheet in this appendix for information about maximumcurrent.■ Do not bridge any mechanical or electrical circuit breakers.■ Do not use an extension lead to connect the machine.■ This machine is not designed for connection to an IT power system. An ITpower system is a voltage network in which the neutral wire is notconnected to earth.■ If the machine is connected through a wall socket, place the machine near awall socket that is easily accessible.■ If the machine is connected through a fixed connection to the electricitygrid, the disconnect device in the fixed connection must be easilyaccessible.Surroundings■ Make sure that the machine is placed on a level, horizontal surface ofsufficient strength. See the Océ TCS400 safety data sheet in this appendixfor information about the weight of the equipment.■ Make sure there is sufficient space around the machine. Sufficient spacearound the machine facilitates reloading materials as well as maintenance.■ Do not place the machine in rooms which are subject to excessive vibration.■ Do not place the machine in rooms which are too small or insufficientlyventilated.
