See the OcéTCS400 safety data sheet in this appendix for information about maximumcurrent.■ Do not bridge any mechanical or electrical circuit breakers.■ Do not use an extension lead to connect the machine.■ This machine is not designed for connection to an IT power system. An ITpower system is a voltage network in which the neutral wire is notconnected to earth.■ If the machine is connected through a wall socket, place the machine near awall socket that is easily accessible.■ If the machine is connected through a fixed connection to the electricitygrid, the disconnect device in the fixed connection must be easilyaccessible.Surroundings■ Make sure that the machine is placed on a level, horizontal surface ofsufficient strength. See the Océ TCS400 safety data sheet in this appendixfor information about the weight of the equipment.■ Make sure there is sufficient space around the machine. Sufficient spacearound the machine facilitates reloading materials as well as maintenance.■ Do not place the machine in rooms which are subject to excessive vibration.■ Do not place the machine in rooms which are too small or insufficientlyventilated.
