Menu functions > 32COLOUR MENUThe printer automatically adjusts colour balance and density atappropriate intervals, optimising the printed output for brightwhite paper viewed in natural daylight conditions. The items onthis menu provide a means of changing the default settings forspecial or particularly difficult print jobs.ITEM SETTINGS EXPLANATIONDENSITYCONTROLAUTOMANUALIf set to AUTO, image density will beautomatically adjusted at power on,when a new image drum or tonercartridge is installed, and at intervals of100, 300 and 500 drum counts. If a 500drum count interval occurs during aprint job it will occur at the end of thatjob, and will take up to 55 seconds.
