Thedocuments are stored in specified personal mailboxes. Theremote machine(s) continue the request(s) until all storeddocuments in the specified mailboxes have been retrieved.To use bulletin polling, you must1 Create Personal (Bulletin Polling) Mailboxes.2 Provide the Personal (Bulletin Polling) Mailbox address(number) to the machine requesting documents. Foryour machine, the address is the number (1 to 16) of themailbox.! The Mailboxes (numbers 1 to 16) are used for Personal(Confidential) Mailboxes, Memory Polling (Bulletin),and Relay Broadcasting. If you are using thesefeatures, remember that the total number of availablemailboxes is shared by these functions.! Print the Personal Box List to see which mailboxes areavailable. Refer to “Reports, Box Information.”! Memory Polling (Bulletin) allows any number of remotemachines to contact your machine. The remotemachines can retrieve the document as many times asneeded.! Memory Polling (Bulletin) is designed to be repeated,by multiple remote machines.
