OkiLAN 8100e Network Userís GuideConfiguration - 82InstallationTo install the Print SuperVision utilityWindowsXP/2000/NT4.0 requires administrator privileges.1. Insert the CD-ROM provided with your printer into theCD-ROM drive.If the Menu Installer doesnít start automatically, clickStart→Run→Browse. Browse to your CD-ROM. ClickInstall→Οpen→OK.2. Select [Network Software].3. Select [Administration Tools4. Select [PrintSuperVision].5. Follow the on-screen instructions. In the [Edit Data] screen,you can specify a port number for PrintSuperVision (default80).6. When installation ends, the [Setup complete] screen isdisplayed. Click [Finish].7. Now you should select[Start]-[Programs]-[PrintSuperVision]-[PrintSuperVision] ordouble-click the [PrintSuperVision] icon on the desktop forthe PrintSuperVision server.8. For PrintSuperVision client, access [http://[the server IPaddress or host name]/PrintSuperVision] from the Webbrowser. If you change the port number you should add[:[port number]] such as [http://172.168.20.127/PrintSuperVision:8080].9. PrintSuperVision has an on-line help facility. |
