9ENGLISH8How to charge1 Connect the power plug to the charger.2 Insert the battery as detailed in "How toinsert the battery" in the instructions.3 Insert the power plug into an electricaloutlet (AC100 - 240 V). The red chargeindicator lights and begins charging thebattery.4 When charging is complete, the chargeindicator turns green. Be sure todisconnect the power plug from the outletwhen charging is complete. Then removethe battery.Notes:● Although battery charging is guaranteed when the air temperature is 0°C - 40°C/32°F- 104°F, for best results, we recommend an air temperature between 10°C -30°C/50°F - 86°F.● If the red charge indicator blinks, the battery may be broken or not inserted correctly.● The battery may become warm while charging, but this is not a malfunction.● There may be static on other electronic equipment (such as a radio or television) ifthe battery charger is plugged in to the same outlet. If this occurs, plug the batterycharger into a different outlet.* The plug type varies dependingon the country where sold.How to insert the batteryBe sure to insert the battery completely and in the proper direction,as shown in the figure. The battery will not charge when its positiveand negative terminals are not lined up with those of the charger, orif the terminals are not fully connected. Be sure that the battery doesnot stick out at an angle.
