Take thebatteries out of the camera, and warm them byputting them in your pocket for a while.Card/Internal memoryCard/Internal memory“An error message is displayed”.“Error message” (p. 68)LensLens“The lens has fogged up from the inside”.Ɣ It is likely that there is a high level of moistureinside the camera. Before using the cameraagain, remove the battery and memory cardand dry fully with the battery/card cover open.Shutter buttonShutter button“No picture is taken when the shutter button ispressed”.Ɣ Cancel sleep mode.To save battery power, the cameraautomatically goes into sleep mode and themonitor turns off if there is no operation for3 minutes when the camera is turned on. Nopicture is taken even if the shutter button isfully pressed in this mode. Operate the zoombuttons or other buttons to restore the camerafrom sleep mode before taking a picture. Ifthe camera is left for another 5 minutes, itautomatically turns off. Press the nbutton to turn the camera on.Ɣ Press the q button to switch to the shootingmode.Ɣ Wait until #( ash charge) stops blinkingbefore taking pictures.Ɣ With prolonged camera use, the internaltemperature may increase, resulting inautomatic shutdown. If this occurs, wait until thecamera has sufciently cooled.The camera’s external temperature may alsoincrease during use, however this is normal anddoes not indicate malfunction.
