For details, referto “3-3 Scene-to-scene continuity.”≥ After executing the rec-view operation, the time code at thetime of recording the following data will correspond to thesettings in the REC REVIEW REGEN item (screen on the VTR MENU page).≥ When the REC REVIEW REGEN item is turned ON andthe rec-view operation is executed while the TCG switch isset to the R-RUN position, the time code will always beregenerated to the value on the tape.Even if the TCG switch is set to the SET position or the F-RUN position, the time code will be rewritten to the valueon the tape when the rec-veiw operation is executed afterreturning the switch to the R-RUN position. When recordingstarts, the unit regenerates the time code to the value onthe tape. Even if the FIRST REC TC item of the menu(TC/UB screen of the VTR MENU page) is set to PRESET,the time code will always be regenerated to the value onthe tape by executing the rec-view operation after settingthe TCG switch to the R-RUN position.3-7 To check the last few seconds ofthe recording(Rec-review function)When recording is temporarily stopped and the lens RETbutton is pressed, the last two seconds of the tape areautomatically rewound, and the playback pictures on this partof the tape appear on the viewfinder screen. This makes itpossible to check whether recording was performed properly. After the two seconds of the tape have been played back, the unit is again set to the recording start standby mode.If the RET button is held down, a maximum of 10 seconds ofthe tape is rewound and played back. The Rec-review function can be executed by opening the MODE> screen from the OPERATION page andsetting the RET SW items to the R.
