When thepower is ON, pressing the power button fortwo seconds or more switches the powerOFF.When the device is located internally, thedevice power system is linked to the powersystem of your PC and the power switcheson without pressing the power button on thedevice.Caution: Do not switch off the power whilethe P2 card is being accessed.(2) Power IndicatorThis indicator lights up in green when thedevice is running.(3) Status IndicatorThis indicator lights up in green duringaccess to a P2 card.Do not remove the P2 card during access ofthe card, otherwise files may be corrupted, orthe P2 card may fail.(4) Card SlotsThe device is designed for P2 cards anddoes not work with other cards.(5) EJECT buttonPress this button to remove a P2 card fromthe device.Rear PanelThe picture shows the rear panel with its coverremoved.(1) USB 3.0 connector (Type B)This connects a USB cable.Use a USB cable (shielded) compliant withUSB 3.0/USB 2.0.The device is only compatible with USB 3.0/USB 2.0. It is not compatible with USB 1.1.If you have a Macintosh, connect usingUSB 2.0.(2) DC IN 12 V SocketTo use the device mounted in a personalcomputer, connect one of the power supplyconnectors inside the personal computer tothis socket.
