Do not install this unit in a location exposed todirect sunlight.• The cabinet may be deformed and the LCD screen may bedamaged. Keep the unit away from electromagnetic devic-es (such as TVs and video game consoles).• Using the unit on or near a TV may result in distorted imagesor audio due to electromagnetic radiation.• The strong magnetic field produced by loudspeakers andlarge monitors may damage recordings or distort images.• Electromagnetic waves from microcomputers mayadversely affect the unit or distort images and audio.• If an electromagnetic device adversely affects the unit andresults in it becoming unable to be operated correctly, turnthe unit off and disconnect the AC cable from the outlet.Then, reconnect the AC cable. It is recommend-ed that cards or storage devices either be physically de-stroyed or that commercially available software be used tocompletely delete any data they contain. Management of dataon memory cards and storage devices is the sole responsibil-ity of the user. LCD• The pixels of the LCD monitor are controlled to obtain highprecision with 99.99% of the effective pixels. This leavesless than 0.01% of pixels that may not light or may remainon all the time. This is normal and will have no effect on theimages you shoot.• There may be some unevenness on the screen dependingon the image displayed.• Wiping or rubbing the LCD screen with a rough cloth maydamage it.• A temporary afterimage (burn-in) may occur when the sameimage or text is displayed for a long time, although it can berecovered by turning the power off for several hours.• LCD response and brightness vary with operating tempera-ture.• In a high-temperature and high-humidity location, the LCDpanel characteristics may change and result in uneven im-age quality.• If an unsupported signal is input to the unit for a long periodof time, the LCD panel characteristics may change and re-sult in uneven image quality.
