If so, slide the power switch.When the battery pack is used, thescreen is darker than when the ACadaptor is connectedz Press the Fn+F2 key and adjust the brightness. Note, however, that whenthe brightness is increased, the battery running time will become shorter.Brightness can be set to separate levels for when the AC adaptor is con-nected and when it is disconnected.An afterimage appears (e.g., the keygreen, red, and blue dots remain onthe display) or there are dots not dis-playing the correct colorsz If an image is displayed for a prolonged period of time, an afterimage mayappear. This is not a malfunction. Therefore, if 0.002% or less of thepicture’s elements either fail to light or remain constantly lit (that means thatmore than 99.998% of the elements are functioning properly), this is notconsidered a defect.The screen becomes disordered z The screen display may become distorted if the resolution or number of col-ors is changed, or if an external display is connected or disconnected whilethe computer is operating. Restart the computer.The external display no longershows the correct imagez When an external display, not compatible with the power-saving mode, isconnected to the computer. The display may not function correctly when thecomputer enters the power-saving mode.
