If you may connect an additional drain hose, the end of thedrain-outlet should keep distance from the ground.CAUTION(Do not dip it into water, and fix it on the wall to avoidswinging in the wind.)In case of the Outdoor unit is installedbelow position of the indoor unit.2. Tape the Pipings, drain hose and Connecting Cable fromdown to up.3. From the pipings gathered by taping along the exterior walland fix it onto the wall by saddle or equivalent.(Refer to the right side diagram)DISPOSAL OF OUTDOOR UNIT DRAIN WATER•••• If a drain elbow is used, the unit should be placed on astand which is taller than 3 cm.•••• If the unit is used in an area where temperature falls below0°C for 2 or 3 days in succession, it is recommended not touse a drain elbow, for the drain water freezes and the fanwill not rotate.1. Tape the Pipings, and Connecting cable from down to up.2. From the pipings gathered by taping along the exterior walland the trap is required to prevent water from entering theroom.3. Fix the pipings onto the wall by saddle or equivalent.(Refer to the left side diagram)9.3.6. CONNECT THE CABLE TO THE OUTDOOR UNIT1. Remove the control board cover from the unit by loosening the screw.2. Connecting cable between indoor unit and outdoor unit shall be approved polychloroprene sheathed 3 x 1.5mm 2 (V12CT) or 5x 1.5mm 2 (W12CT) or 3 x 2.5mm 2 (V18/24CT) or 5 x 2.5mm 2 (W18/24CT) flexie cord, type designation 2451EC57 or heaviercord.3. Secure the cable onto the control board with the holder (clamper).4. Attach the control board cover back to the original position with the screw.9.3.7.
