20.1. Test operation•••• Always use a properly-insulated tool to operate the switchon the circuit board. (Do not use your finger or any metallicobject).•••• Never turn on the power supply until all installation work hasbeen completed.•••• Turn on the circuit breaker before test operation extendspast 12 hours.(The crankcase heater will be energized, which will warmthe compressor and prevent liquid compression.)•••• For three-phase models, check that the phase is notreversed.(If the phase is reversed, the LED on the printed circuitboard will flash.)•••• Check that the voltage is 198 V or higher when starting theunit. (The unit will not operate if the voltage is less than198V.)•••• Carry out test operation for 5 minutes or more, using theremote control or the switch on the outdoor unit printedcircuit board.•••• Always carry out cooling operation first during testoperation, even during the warm season.(If heating is carried out first, problems with operation of thecompressor will result.)20.2. Test operation from theoutdoor unitDuring outdoor unit emergency operation or test operation, theLEDs on the printed circuit board will flash.To cancel test operation, press the TEST RUN button oncemore while test operation is being carried out.(Test operation will stop automatically after 30 minutes havepassed.)20.3. Test operation using the wiredremote control1. Check that “COOL” is displayed on the operation modedisplay, and then press the OFF/ON button to start testoperation.2. Within 1 minute of pressing the OFF/ON button, press theTEST RUN button.3. The pipe temperature (gas pipe) will then be displayed inthe temperature setting display of the remote control.•••• During group control, the number appearing in the timerdisplay will change each time the air conditioner No.button is pressed, and the pipe temperature for theindoor unit corresponding to the number displayed willappear in the temperature setting display.4.
