You cannot play discs that do not conform to industrystandards or do not have a region code or number.—Please tell me about disccompatibility with this unit.pThis unit plays BD-Video, DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, Video CD, CD, DVD-RAM (DVDVideo Recording format/JPEG), DVD-R/RW (DVD-Video format and DVD VideoRecording format), DVD-R DL (DVD-Video format and DVD Video Recording format),+R, +RW and +R DL.pThis unit also plays CD-R/CD-RW discs which have been recorded in one of thefollowing standards: CD-DA, Video CD, MP3 and still pictures (JPEG). Close thesession after recording.pYou cannot write to a disc with this unit.44—To return to the factory preset(No setting)pReset the unit as follows:1 Press [¦/I POWER] on the unit to turn off the unit.2 Press and hold [/], [ OPEN/CLOSE] and [w] on the unit at the same time until“HELLO” appears on the display.3 Wait until “TEST” appears next.4 Press [¦/I POWER] on the unit to turn off the unit.5 Disconnect the AC power supply cord.Wait one minute, then reconnect it.—To return all settings other thanthe ratings level to the factorypresetpSelect “Yes” in “Restore Default Settings” in the Setup menu.This returns all values in the Setup menus and On-screen menu, except for the ratings level,to the default settings.21To restore the unit if it freezesdue to one of the safetydevices being activatedpPress and hold [¦/I POWER] on the main unit for 10 seconds.
