Advanced Operations32[RAM] [DVD-R]You can give names to recorded titles, etc.The maximum number of characters:[RAM] Characters≥Title 64≥Title (timer recording) 44≥Play list 64≥Disc 64[DVD-R] Characters≥Title 44≥Disc 40If a name is long, parts of it may not be shown on some screens.Preparation≥Insert a recorded disc.≥Release protection.- Disc (l 30), title (l 34), cartridge (l 18) [RAM]≥Press [DVD].[1] After the Enter Name screen appearsUse [3, 4, 2, 1] to select the character youwant to enter and press [ENTER].≥You can enter the following characters.(1) This window shows the text you have entered. (Name field)(2) ERASE [;, PAUSE](3) SET (when you have finished entering text) [∫, STOP](4) SPACE(5) The title displayed on the menu screen after finalizing theDVD-R appears. [DVD-R] (l 34)To enter other charactersRepeat step 1.[2] Press [∫, STOP].The title is entered and the screen disappears.≥You can also finish entering the title by selecting “SET” with [3,4, 2, 1] and pressing [ENTER].∫Regarding entering characters≥To erase charactersPress [;, PAUSE]. (You can also erase characters by selecting“ERASE” with [3, 4, 2, 1] and pressing [ENTER].)≥To enter a spaceYou may enter a space by pressing [¢] and then press[ENTER].∫Using the numeric buttons to enter characterse.g., entering the letter “R”[1] Press [7] to move to the 7th row.[2] Press [7] twice to highlight “R”.[3] Press [ENTER].∫To correct a character[1] Use [3, 4, 2, 1] to select the character you want to correct inthe name field.[2] Press [;, PAUSE].
