20Playback FeaturesViewing the disc playbackinformationYou can view the disc information (suchas current title/chapter/track number,current playing time on the disc) withoutinterrupting the disc playback.During playback, press DISPLAYrepeatedly.A list of available current discinformation appears on the TV screen.Selecting title/chapter/track on thedisc information1 Press SEARCH MODE, then use w qkeys to select an option.2 Use numeric keypad (0-9) to entervalid title/chapter/track number or hours,minutes and seconds from left to rightin the time edit box, then press OK.Playback will change to the chosen timeor to the selected title/ chapter/ track.For DVD{TT XX/XX CH XXX/XXX}: displays thetotal available title and chapters in thedisc and enables you to select a chapterfor viewing.{z XX:XX:XX}: displays the elapsed playtime in the disc and enables you to selectthe hour, minute and second for viewing.For Super VCD or VCD{TRK XX/XX}: displays the total availabletracks in the disc and enables you toselect a track for viewing.{z XX:XX:XX}: displays the elapsed playtime in the disc and enables you to selectthe hour, minute and second for viewing.zÎRepeat play modesThe repeat play options vary dependingon the disc type.Press REPEAT repeatedly to select thefollowing repeat modes.For DVDREP CHAPTER (currently playingchapter)REP TITLE (currently playing title)REP ALL (entire disc)REP OFF (cancel)For VCD, Audio CDREP 1 (currently playing track)REP ALL (entire disc)REP OFF (cancel)Tip:For VCD, repeat playback is notpossible if the PBC mode is switchedon.Repeating a section within achapter/trackYou can repeat the playback of a specificsegment within a title/chapter/track. To dothis, you must mark the start and end ofthe segment you want.1 Press A-B REPEAT to choose yourstarting point ‘REPEAT A-’.2 Press A-B REPEAT again at your chosenend point ‘REPEAT A-B’.The section from point ‘REPEATA-’ to ‘REPEAT A-B’ will now repeatcontinuously.3 Press A-B REPEAT the third time to exit(A-B CANCEL).––––––––ÎTips: The operating features described here might not be possible for certain discs.Always refer to the instructions supplied with the discs.20
