Setting up to record a broadcast iseasy too. Simply select the desired programme from thedisplayed list. You can also search for desired programmes bydisplaying only the programmes in a certain category.The GUIDE Plus+ system is available in the followingcountries:Aust ria/Belgiu m/France/Germany/Netherlands/Spain/Switzerland(as of 28th Feb 2005)oThis service may not be available in some areas in the abovecountries.oThere may be changes in the service areas.You will need to complete Preset Download (_ right) or Auto-Setup (-_ 19) to setup the GUIDE Plus+ system.oThe GUIDE Plus+ system setup will not work if the clock isnot set correctly.Refer to the "User's manual for the GUIDE Plus+ system" formore information.oVisit following homepage for more information.htt p://www.eu rope.g uideplus.comWhen connecting to a television that has the Q Linkfunctions (m 69) with a fully wired 21-pin Scart cable(-- 15).You can download the tuning positions from the television.This unit's Auto Clock Setting function synchronizes the time whenthe TV channel that is broadcasting time and date information istuned.12Turn on the television and select theappropriate AV input to suit theconnections to this unit.Press [_ DVD] to turn the unit on.Downloading from the television starts.• If the Country setting menu appears on the television,press [A, Y, _1, I_] to select the country and press[ENTER].If you select "Schweiz", "Suisse" or "Svizzera" in the Countrysetting, or when the television tuning setting has been set toSwitzerland, the "Power Save" setting menu appears. Select"On" or "Off" (= 57).When downloading is complete, the following messageappears.(The above message also appears in countries whereGUIDE Plus+ system is not available.
