RQT89504Disc information• We recommend using Panasonic discs. We also recommend using DVD-RAM discs with cartridges to protect them from scratches and dirt.• You may not be able to record depending on the condition of the discs and you may not be able to play due to the condition of the recording.• For the recording time, refer to “Recording modes and approximate recording times” on page 17.* 1 You can record onto the second layer of dual- or double-layer discs after closing the first layer (Ô page 36). You will no longer be able to recordto the first layer after you do this (Ô page 16).When playing a title recorded on both layers, video and audio may momentarily cut out when the unit is switching layers.* 2 You may not be able to use +R recorded on this unit in another Panasonic DVD recorder and vice versa.
