Incoming Call Line Identification (CLI)When a call is received the last six digits of the CLI information is matched with the phonebook. Therefore an incoming callcould be matched to the wrong phonebook entry.3.8. Hot Key Dial Source ListThe source for Hot Key Dial Numbers is normally ‘Phonebook’ or ‘Service Dial Numbers’. For some OEMs it may be arequirement to store these numbers in Flash-ROM. When the source is the Flash-ROM and the telephone software isupdated, the source numbers may be lost. Also, if the user changes the source of the Hot Key Dial numbers, it will not bepossible to redirect the source back to Flash-ROM. However, in the event that an OEM would like the Hot Key Dial source tobe stored in the Flash-ROM, it is unlikely that the user will have the option to change the Hot Key Dial source.3.9. Public Man Machine Interface (MMI)3.9.1 GeneralIt is possible to operate all GSM telephones in the same way using the Public MMI. The following operations will work with allGSM telephones.
