During charging, the charging lampwill be lit.When charging is completed, an in-ternal electronic switch will automati-cally be triggered to prevent over-charging.Charging will not start if the batterypack is warm (for example, immedi-ately after heavy-duty operation).The orange standby lamp will be lituntil the battery cools down. Chargingwill then begin automatically.4. When charging is completed, thecharging lamp will start flashing quicklyin green color.5. When in any of the conditions thatbattery pack is too cool, or the bat-tery pack has not been used for along time, the charging lamp is lit. Inthis case charging takes longer tofully charge the battery pack, thanthe standard charging time.If a fully charged battery pack isinserted into the charger again, thecharging lamp light up. After severalminutes, the charging lamp mayflash quickly to indicate the chargingis completed.6. If the charging lamp does not lightimmediately after the charger isplugged in, or if after the standardcharging time the lamp does not gooff, consult an authorized dealer.Note:When charging a cool battery pack(below 5°C (41°F)) in a warm place,leave the battery pack at the placeand wait for more than one hour towarm up the battery to the level ofthe ambient temperature.Otherwisebattery pack may not be fullycharged.Cool down the charger when charg-ing more than two battery packs con-secutively.Do not insert your fingers into contacthole, when holding charger or anyother occasions.CAUTION:Do not use power source from anengine generator.Do not cover vent holes on thecharger and the battery packUnplug the charger when not in use..
