Bluetooth Headset OperationThe KX-NT307 Bluetooth module allows third partyBluetooth headsets to be used with the KX-NT400. It isnot guaranteed that all features of the Bluetoothheadset will be available when used with theKX-NT307 Bluetooth module.Note• One Bluetooth headset can be registered withthe module.• The KX-NT307 Bluetooth module supportsBluetooth devices that use the headset profile(HSP) and hands-free profile (HFP).Registering the Bluetooth headsetSet the headset pairing mode by following theinstructions provided with the Bluetooth headset.1. Press the Options tab > Administrator Options >Programming.2. On the Programming screen, press PROG.3. Press .4. Press (ENTER).5. Enter the Pass Key for your Bluetooth headset andthen press (ENTER).For more information regarding the Pass Key, seethe documentation for your headset, or consult theBluetooth headset’s manufacturer.• When registration has been completed, you willhear a confirmation tone.• If you hear a warning tone, confirm theBluetooth headset’s Pass Key, press(CANCEL), and repeat this step.6. Press EXIT to exit programming mode.Note• If you have already registered a Bluetoothheadset that you do not want to use anymore,register the correct headset.• For more information about confirmation andwarning tones, refer to the Operating Manual ofthe PBX.Assigning a Headset Mode buttonA flexible key can be assigned as a Headset Modebutton.The Headset Mode button can be used to turn HeadsetMode on and off. A flexible button assigned as theHeadset Mode button displays Headset Mode status asfollows:• Red: Headset Mode on• Off: Headset Mode off1.
