Setup in NetWareSettings and Printing NetworkNetworkMaintenance and Spec. 1046 Configure the print server(1) Select the print server name you added from the Print Servers list, then press theEnter key.The Print Server Information menu is displayed.(2) Select Print Server Configuration, then press the Enter key.The Print Server Configuration Menu is displayed.(3) Select Printer Configuration, then press the Enter key.The Configured Printers list is displayed. Since this is a new Print Server entry, allprinters are labeled “Not Installed”.(4) Press the Enter key.The Printer 0 Configuration screen is displayed with a title of “Printer 0”.(5) Enter the printer name (default: KXPxxxxxx*1-prn1), then press Enter key.The Printer Type list is displayed.*1xxxxxx indicates the last 3 byte of MAC address of the network card installed in theprinter. (MAC address is located on the nameplate of the network card.)For example, if the MAC address is 000F01-118002 (the last 3 byte is 118002), thedefault server name is KXP118002. However, the server name can be changed usingthe Network Setup Tool. If the default server name has been changed, use the currentserver name.(6) In Type, press Enter key, and then select Remote Other/Unknown and press Enterkey.(7) Press ESC key to save changes.(8) At the prompt, select Yes to save the changes, then press the Enter key.(9) Press the Esc key to return to the Print Server Configuration menu.7 Assign a print queue to the printer.(1) Select Queues Serviced By Printer and press the Enter key.The Defined Printers list is displayed.(2) Select the printer name you added from the list, then press the Enter key.The File Server/Queue/Priority list is displayed.(3) Press the Insert key.The Available Queues list is displayed.(4) Select the queue entered at step “2. Add the print queue” and press Enter key.(5) Assign a priority level 1 to 10, then press the Enter key.(6) When you finish assigning the queues, press the Esc key. Continue to press the Esckey to return to the Available Options menu.
