Next timewhen someone calls from the same AreaCode, caller information will be customizedby the unit as follows:– When the call is being received, theCaller ID number will be displayed in thesame Format as the Edited Number.– After the call is ended, the telephonenumber of the caller, when reviewedfrom the Caller list, will be displayed inthe same Format as the Edited Number.For example, you can use this feature toset the unit to ignore the area code ofcallers in your area code, so that you cancall these local numbers using callerinformation without dialing the area code.To activate this feature, you must edit anitem in the caller list, then call that number.After that, phone numbers from thatcaller’s area code are edited automatically.This feature can be turned on or off (page46).Note:L Phone numbers from the 4 most recentlyedited area codes are automaticallyedited.L If you move to another area, you canturn this feature off to erase previouslyedited area codes.
