If another handsetmodel is used, certain operations maynot be available.Additional base unitsHandsets can be registered to up to 4base units, allowing you to addadditional base units and extend thearea in which your handset(s) can beused. If a handset moves out of range ofits base unit when “Auto” is selected onbase unit (page 37), it looks for anotherbase unit to make or receive calls. Abase unit and the handsets itcommunicates with is called a “radiocell”.Note:L Calls are disconnected when thehandset moves from one radio cell toanother.Registering a handset to abase unitThe supplied handset and base unit arepre-registered.
