Next time when someone callsfrom the same Area Code, caller information iscustomized by the unit as follows:– When the call is being received, the Caller IDnumber is displayed in the same Format as theEdited Number.– After the call is ended, the phone number of thecaller, when reviewed from the Caller list, isdisplayed in the same Format as the EditedNumber.For example, you can use this feature to set theunit to ignore the area code of callers in your area,so that you can call these local numbers usingcaller information without dialing the area code.To activate this feature, you must edit an entry inthe caller list, then call that number. After that,phone numbers from that caller’s area code areedited automatically.Note:L Phone numbers from the 4 most recently editedarea codes are automatically edited.L If you move to another area, you can turn thisfeature off to erase previously edited areacodes.
