Advanced Voice ClarityWhen Advanced Voice Clarity is enabled,environmental noise is reduced to improve andmaintain sound quality for the other party in theconversation. Receiver volume is also increasedaccording to the level of environmental noise. It is usefulin noisy environments such as warehouses,manufacturing plants, restaurants, and garages.Advanced Voice Clarity can be enabled by default forregular use, or toggled on/off during a call.Enabling or disabling Advanced Voice Clarity1. PressFUNC .2. Press [ ] or [ ] to select "Voice Clarity", andthen press .3. Press [ ] or [ ] to select "On" or "Off", and thenpress .Temporarily enabling or disabling AdvancedVoice Clarity during a callYou can enable or disable Advanced Voice Clarityduring a call by doing either of the following:a. PressFUNC , then press [ ] or [ ] to select"Voice Clarity", and then press .orb. Press . To display the soft key, edit thedisplayed soft keys. See "Key Option (Page 43)".Note• Advanced Voice Clarity can be used only inReceiver mode or with a headset. It cannot beused in Hands-free mode. If Hands-free modeis enabled during a call while Advanced VoiceClarity is enabled, Advanced Voice Clarity willbe temporarily disabled.Power Save ModePower Save Mode turns off the ringer, LCD backlight,and/or key backlight automatically after a set number ofseconds have passed while receiving a call.
