Cleaning the unit while it is still on can result inerroneous behaviour.However, by enabling cleaning mode, you can wipe thedisplay without turning the unit off (Page 130).• Wipe the unit with a soft and dry cloth.If the unit becomes particularly dirty, apply a lightkitchen cleanser to a soft cloth, wring the cloththoroughly, and then wipe the unit. When finished,dry the unit with a soft and dry cloth.• Do not clean the unit with cleaners that contain:petroleum, scouring powder, paint thinner, benzine,wax, hot water or powdered soap. When usingchemical cleansers, follow the instructions on thelabel carefully.• When wiping smudges off the display, use a softand dry cloth. Touch the display only with the fleshypart of your fingers, and avoid touching it with yourfingernails.Enabling Cleaning ModeTo prevent incorrect operation while cleaning the unit,you can set the unit to ignore any operations from thekey sheet and the display.1.
