Thenreinsert the batteries or reconnect ACadaptor and turn the camera on.Do not use the camera near radiotransmitters or high-voltage lines.• If you record near radio transmitters orhigh-voltage lines, the recorded picturesmay be adversely affected.Always use the supplied cords andcables. If you use optional accessories,use the cords and the cables suppliedwith them.Do not extend the cords or the cables.Do not spray the camera withinsecticides or volatile chemicals.• If the camera is sprayed with suchchemicals, the body of the camera may bedamaged and the surface finish may peeloff.• Do not keep rubber or plastic products incontact with the camera for a long periodof time.Do not use benzine, thinner or alcoholfor cleaning the camera.• Before cleaning the camera, remove thebatteries or disconnect the AC adaptor(DMW-AC6; optional) from the electricaloutlet.• The body of the camera may be damagedand the surface finish may peel off.• Wipe the camera with a soft, dry cloth. Toremove stubborn stains, wipe with a cloththat is soaked in a detergent diluted withwater and then with a soft, dry cloth.• If you use a chemically treated cloth, readthe instructions that come with the cloth.• If rain water or other drops of water splashonto the camera, wet a soft cloth with tapwater, wring it well, then use it to wipe thecamera body carefully. Lastly, wipe thecamera again with a dry cloth.
