31VQT1C63Basic• “EZ” is an abbreviation of [Extendedoptical Zoom].• If you set a picture size that activatesthe extended optical zoom, the extendedoptical zoom icon [ ] is displayedon the screen when you use the zoomfunction.• The zoom will stop moving for an instantnear [W] (1 ×) when the extended opticalzoom is used. This is not a malfunction.• The indicated zoom magnifi cation is anapproximation.• In motion picture mode [i] and [HIGHSENS.] in scene mode, the extendedoptical zoom does not work.Using the easy zoom buttonPress the [E.ZOOM] button to quicklyzoom.
