(Otherwise the connectors may be bent out of shape which will cause trouble.)1 Connect the AV cable B (optional) to the video input and the audioinput sockets on the TV.2 Connect the AV cable to the [AV OUT/DIGITAL] socket on the camera.3 Turn the TV on and select external input.4 Turn the camera on and playback the picture.Note• You can display pictures on a TV only when the recording/playback switch is set to theplayback [5].• Depending on the [PICTURE SIZE], black bands may be displayed on the top andbottom or the left and right of the pictures.• Read the operating instructions for the TV.• When you play back a picture vertically, it may be blurry.• You can view pictures on TVs in other countries (regions) which use the NTSC or PALsystem when you set [VIDEO OUT] in the [SETUP] menu.Playing back pictures on a TV with an SD Memory Card slotStill pictures recorded on an SD Memory Card can be played back on a TV with an SDMemory Card slot.Note• Depending on the TV model, some pictures may not take up the whole screen.• You cannot play motion pictures.
