For the operation of the EditingController, refer to its operating instructions.When Connecting the Editing Controller VW-EC1E (optional)³When you perform editing with the NV-HS1000VCR (optional) connected to this Movie Camera,first activate the Still Playback Mode on theMovie Camera and then start the actual editingoperation.³When you use the Editing Controller VW-EC1E,it is not necessary to connect it to the Edit Socketon the VCR, as the VCR’s operation is performedvia infrared remote control. Therefore, editing isalso possible onto VCRs not equipped with anEdit Socket.³For the operation of the Editing Controller, referto its operating instructions.When Editing with Time CodeSet [C.DISPLAY] on the [DISPLAY SETUP] Sub-Menu of the [VCR FUNCTIONS] Main-Menu to[TIMECODE] to make the Time Code appear.³When the Time Code is displayed, the TimeCode Signal is output from the Edit Socket.³When the Counter Indication is displayed, theLinear Tape Counter Signal is output.³If your VCR is not equipped with AV InputSockets, the 21pin Adaptor (purchaseseparately) is necessary. Consult your dealer.Using the Movie Camera with a ComputerThe Personal Computer Connection Kit VW-DTA9E (optional), or VW-DTA10B (optional)makes it possible to connect the Movie Camera toa computer and transmit still video images to it.The above illustration shows the connectionsin case of using the VW-DTA10B.
