Playback mode45VQT0T39ª To delete all files1 Move the joystick down to select [ ].2 Move the joystick up or down in order toselect [ALL FILES] and then press it.3 When the confirmation message appears,select [YES] and press the joystick.≥Do not turn off the power while deleting.≥To delete files, use the AC adaptor or asufficiently charged battery.≥In case of [ALL FILES], the deletion may taketime if there are many files on the card.≥If the “CARD FULL” indication appears whenrecording, the card is full and no further datacan be recorded. Insert a new card or set thecamera to Card Playback Mode and deleteunnecessary files.≥If files conforming to DCF standard are deleted,all the data related to the files will be deleted.ª Deleting still picture files recorded ona card by other equipment≥A still picture file (other than JPEG) that cannotbe played back on the movie camera may bedeleted.Formatting a cardPlease be aware that if a card is formatted, thenall the data recorded on the card will be erased.Store important data on a personal computer, etc.≥Set to Card Playback Mode.1 Set [ADVANCED] >> [FORMAT CARD] >>[YES].2 When the confirmation message appears,select [YES] and press the joystick in orderto format the card.≥In order to stop formatting, select [NO].≥Normally, it is not necessary to format the card.If a message appears even though you insertand remove the card several times, format it.≥If the SD Memory Card is formatted on otherequipment, the time spent for recording maybecome longer. If the SD Memory Card isformatted on a PC, it cannot be used on themovie camera. Format the SD Memory Card onthe movie camera, in this case.≥Do not remove the card or turn off the powerwhile formatting.≥The movie camera supports SD Memory Cardsformatted in FAT12 system and FAT16 systembased on SD Memory Card Specifications.
