Pleasenote that the actual controls and components, menu items, etc. of your Movie Camera may looksomewhat different from those shown in the illustrations in these Operating Instructions.Caution for AC mains leadFor your safety, please read the following textcarefully.This appliance is supplied with a moulded threepin mains plug for your safety andconvenience.A 5-ampere fuse is fitted in this plug.Should the fuse need to be replaced pleaseensure that the replacement fuse has a ratingof 5-ampere and that it is approved by ASTA orBSI to BS1362.Check for the ASTA mark Ï or the BSI markÌ on the body of the fuse.If the plug contains a removable fuse cover youmust ensure that it is refitted when the fuse isreplaced.If you lose the fuse cover the plug must not beused until a replacement cover is obtained.A replacement fuse cover can be purchasedfrom your local dealer.If a new plug is to be fitted please observe thewiring code as stated below.If in any doubt please consult a qualifiedelectrician.IMPORTANTThe wires in this mains lead are coloured inaccordance with the following code:Blue: Neutral, Brown: Live.As these colours may not correspond with thecoloured markings identifying the terminals inyour plug, proceed as follows:The wire which is coloured Blue must beconnected to the terminal which is marked withthe letter N or coloured Black or Blue.The wire which is coloured Brown must beconnected to the terminal which is marked withthe letter L or coloured Brown or Red.WARNING: DO NOT CONNECT EITHERWIRE TO THE EARTH TERMINAL WHICH ISMARKED WITH THE LETTER E, BY THEEARTH SYMBOL Ó OR COLOUREDGREEN OR GREEN/YELLOW.THIS PLUG IS NOT WATERPROOF—KEEPDRY.Before useRemove the connector cover.How to replace the fuseThe location of the fuse differ according to thetype of AC mains plug (figures A and B).Confirm the AC mains plug fitted and follow theinstructions below.Illustrations may differ from actual AC mains plug.1. Open the fuse cover with a screwdriver.2.
