(The original sound remains on the normal audio track.)Note:When performing Insert Editing, it is recommended to change overto the 4-digit Tape Counter.1 Press the [PAUSE] Button.Playback the tape to locate the point where the Insert Editingis to finish, and press the Pause Button at that point.2 Press the [RESET] Button.3 Press the [MEMORY] Button.The indication “M 0000" appears in the Viewfinder.4 Press the [REW/@=]] Button.Rewind the tape to locate the point where the Insert Editing isto start, and release the button at that point.5 Press the [INSERT] Button.The “INST #8” Indication appears in the Viewfinder.6 Press the [PAUSE] Button again.©The insert Editing starts.The “INST [>" Indication appears in the Viewfinder.The Insert Editing will automatically finish at the point where thecounter indicates “M0000”.To stop the Insert Editing midway, press the [Pause] Button.@ When playing back a cassette tape onwhich insert editing has beenperformed...Use the [AUDIO SELECT] Switch to seiect the sound to be playedback. (p. 26)@ If you pertorm Insert Editing with the Linear Time CounterIndication displayed, please note the following:*To start Insert Editing from the Insert Editing Pause Mode (Step 6above) after putting the Movie Camera in the Stilt Mode bypressing the (STOP] Button, press the [PLAY] Button.®Pressing the [STOP] Button, while in the Insert Editing Mode or inthe Insert Editing Pause Mode, cancels that mode and puts theMovie Camera in the Still Mode.#As the memory stop function does not work when the Linear TimeCounter indication is displayed, the tape does not stop when theInsert Editing is finished.*If you press the [STOP] Button to put the Movie Camera in theStill Mode and then put it in the insert Editing Pause Mode, the“II” Indication does not appear in the Viewfinder.
