It also flashescontinuously when some malfunction has occurred inthe Battery or the AC Adaptor. For details, read “Notesabout the AC Adaptor”. (p. 115)≥Charge the Battery at a room temperature between10oC and 30oC.≥If the DC Input Lead is connected to the AC Adaptor,disconnect it as charging is not possible otherwise.≥If the [CHARGE] Lamp does not light even though theBattery is attached, remove the Battery and then re-attach it.≥During recording and charging, the Battery becomeswarm. However, this is normal.≥If the temperature of the Battery is extremely high orextremely low, the [CHARGE] Lamp may keep onflashing and charging is not possible. After theBattery has cooled down or warmed up sufficiently,charging starts automatically.1Have the front edge ofthe battery lined up withthe 1 mark on the sideof the AC Adaptor, andthen slide it horizontallyuntil it locks with aclick.5Insert the Battery into the Battery Holder on theMovie Camera and slide it downward until it lockswith a click.2Connect the AC MainsLead to the AC Adaptorand an AC mains socket.The [POWER] Lamp andthe [CHARGE] Lamp lightand charging starts.≥The AC Mains Leaddoes not fit entirely intothe AC Adaptor socket,however this has noeffect on operation.4Tilt the Viewfinderupward.Charging Time and Maximum Time forContinuous RecordingThe times shown in the above chart areapproximations. The figures in parentheses show therecording time when using the LCD Monitor.The times listed above for your information indicate theduration of recording performed at an ambienttemperature of 20°C and 60% relative humidity.
