It also flashescontinuously when some malfunction has occurred inthe Battery or the AC Adaptor. For details, read “Notesabout the AC Adaptor”. (p. 115)≥Charge the Battery at a room temperature between10oC and 30oC.≥If the DC Input Lead is connected to the AC Adaptor, disconnect it as charging is not possible otherwise.≥If the [CHARGE] Lamp does not light even though theBattery is attached, remove the Battery and then re-attach it.≥During recording and charging, the Battery becomeswarm. However, this is normal.≥If the temperature of the Battery is extremely high orextremely low, the [CHARGE] Lamp may keep onflashing and charging is not possible. After theBattery has cooled down or warmed up sufficiently, charging starts automatically.1Have the front edge ofthe battery lined up withthe 1 mark on the sideof the AC Adaptor, andthen slide it horizontallyuntil it locks with aclick.5Insert the Battery into the Battery Holder on theMovie Camera and slide it downward until it lockswith a click.2Connect the AC MainsLead to the AC Adaptorand an AC mains socket. The [POWER] Lamp andthe [CHARGE] Lamp lightand charging starts.≥The AC Mains Leaddoes not fit entirely intothe AC Adaptor socket, however this has noeffect on operation.4Tilt the Viewfinderupward.Charging Time and Maximum Time forContinuous RecordingThe times shown in the above chart areapproximations. The figures in parentheses show therecording time when using the LCD Monitor. The times listed above for your information indicate theduration of recording performed at an ambienttemperature of 20°C and 60% relative humidity. Thecharging time may be longer when you charge theBattery at higher or lower temperature.A Charging TimeB Maximum Continuous Recording TimeC Intermittent Recording Time(The Intermittent Recording Time indicates the totalrecording time possible when you start and stoprecording repeatedly.)≥The Battery Model VSB0418 is supplied.≥During use and charging, the Battery becomes warm. The Movie Camera, too, becomes warm during use.≥When you repeatedly stop and restart recording, therecording time per Battery is shorter than listed above.≥If you do not use the Battery for a long time, pleaseread “Precautions for Storage”. (p. 116)≥The Battery models CGP-D110 and CGP-D105cannot be charged with this AC Adaptor.Removing the Battery from the Movie CameraWhile pressing the [BATT. EJECT] Button, slide theBattery upward to remove it.≥Be careful not to drop the Battery by accident.≥Before removing the Battery, set the [OFF/ON/MODE]Switch to [OFF].13Remove the Battery bysliding it in theopposite direction ofStep1.≥Also disconnect the ACMains Lead. When charging,do not connectthe DC InputLead to theAC Adaptor.Power LampCharge LampBattery Eject ButtonCharge Lamp [CHARGE]Lit: During charging.Off: When the Battery is fully charged.Charge LampCGP-D210NV-MX1 NV-MX5 NV-MX7CGR-D220CGP-D320CGR-D815VSB0418CGR-D120 ABCABCABCABCABC1 h.1 h 50 min.2 h.3 h 15 min.5 h 20 min.1 h 20 min.
