Make sure the shape of the mains plug and theAC IN terminal on the back of the projector match,then push the plug all the way in.2. Align the side of the power cord secure lock withthe side guide rail of the AC IN terminal of theprojector and slide it in.3. Place the latch to the latch catcher and press untilit clicks.4. Connect the mains lead to a mains socket.J Disconnecting1. Unplug the mains lead from the mains socket.2. Depress the latch and slide the cover off.3. Slide the power cord secure lock up along the sideguide rail and remove.4. Hold the plug and unplug the mains lead from theAC IN terminal on the back of the projector.Power indicator lights in orange if the internal coolingfan is still operating by internal power supply.J Direct power on functionYou can start the projection with only supplying theelectric power. See “INITIAL START UP” onpage 43.J Direct power off functionYou can switch off the electric power supply anytime by unplugging the mains plug from the mainssocket or by switching off the main power. Theinternal lamp cooling fan keeps operating by theinternal power supply, and stops automaticallywhen cooled enough.Mains leadRail guideLatchLatchRail guideNOTE:• Do not use other than the provided mains lead.• Ensure all the input devices are connected and turned off before connecting the mains lead.• Do not force the connector as this may damage the projector and/or the mains lead.• Dirt or dust build-up around plugs may cause fire or electrical hazards.• Switch off the power to the projector when not in use.• If the projector is switched on again while the internal cooling fan is still operating by the internal power supply, it may takea while to start the projection.
