Please handle with care.A Phillips screwdriver is required for replacement of the lamp unit.zBe careful of hands slip when you using a screwdriver.zWhen replacing the lamp unit, be sure to hold it by the handle.zWhen replacing the lamp because it has stopped illuminating, there is a possibility that the lamp may bezbroken. If replacing the lamp of a projector which has been installed on the ceiling, you should alwaysassume that the lamp is broken, and you should stand to the side of the lamp cover, not underneath it.Remove the lamp cover gently. Small pieces of glass may fall out when the lamp cover is opened. If piecesof glass get into your eyes or mouth, seek medical advice immediately.The lamp contains mercury. Consult your local municipality or your dealer about correct disposal of usedzlamp units.AttentionBe sure to use the lamp unit specified.zNoteThe part numbers of accessories and separately sold components are subject to change without notice.zWhen to replace the lamp unitJThe lamp unit is a consumable component. Brightness decreases according to duration of usage, soperiodical replacement of the lamp unit is necessary. The estimated duration before replacement is 3 000hours for PT-TW330EA / PT-TX300EA, 4 000 hours for PT-TW240EA. However, this may be shorteneddepending on individual lamp characteristics, usage conditions, and the installation environment. Therefore, itis strongly recommended that a replacement lamp unit be prepared.When the projection lamp of the projector reaches its end of life, the warning message appears on the screen.Replace the lamp with a new one promptly.Model name Lamp runtimeOn screen:Warning Lamp messagePT-TW330EA /PT-TX300EA Over 2 970 hours If the lamp is used over 2 970 hours, the warning message willappear.
