Use a computer application such as a programming language to software. Refer to thedocumentation for the computer application for details.Basic format for control dataThe transmission of control data from the computerstarts with a STX signal, followed by the command, the parameters, and lastly an ETX signal in thatorder. If there are no parameters, then theparameter signal does not need to be sent.Notes:(1) If multiple commands are transmitted, be sure towait for the response for the first command tocome from this unit before sending the nextcommand.(2) If an incorrect command is sent by mistake, thisunit will send an “ER401” command back to thecomputer.STXStart(02h)ETX:C2C1 C3 P2P1 P3 P4 P5Colon Parameter(s)(1 - 5 bytes)End(03h)3-charactercommand (3bytes)RS-232C Conversion cableD-sub 9-pin female2354 6781 • 9DetailsR X DT X DGNDNon useShortedNCPin layout for RS-232C98765321 4Communication parametersSignal levelSynchronization methodBaud rateParityCharacter lengthStop bitFlow controlRS-232C compliantAsynchronous9600 bpsNone8 bits1 bit-CommandCommandPONPOFAVLAMTIISDAMControl detailsPower ONPower OFFVolume 00 - 63Audio mute OFFAudio mute ONInput select (toggle)AV ModeComponent / RGB mode (processed as aY/PB/P R or RGB signals as set by this unit)PC ModeScreen mode select (toggle)4 : 3Zoom16 : 9JustPanasonic AutoParameterNoneNone**01NoneVIDYP1RG1NoneNORMZOOMFULLJUSTSELFWith the power off, this display responds to PON command only.
