In each location you can storea first and last name, up to four associated phone numbers, an emailaddress, and a distinctive ring tone. You can also associate a backlightcolor with the entry. If a caller’s phone number matches an entry in thePhonebook, the corresponding name is displayed and the backlightchanges color (if you have specified a different color than the standby colorin that caller’s Phonebook entry.)This chapter contains information about creating, saving, searching, andaccessing your Phonebook entries. For an overview of how to movethrough the menus and use the shortcut keys, see Chapter 2, “GettingStarted”.Note: You can also create Phonebook entries on a PC, using asynchronization software application, and then transfer theentries to your phone via the data cable (see “EB-TX320Accessories” on page 69). AT&T Wireless #121 service has beenpre-programmed as your favorite number—you can request and heardirections, stock quotes, movie reviews, sports, weather, and news overyour Panasonic wireless phone. With AT&T Wireless #121 service, youcan keep up-to-date on the latest information when you're on the go.If you want, you can change the Favorite Number key to call your ownfavorite number.1 Press ( ).ORPress (MENU) and (OK).• The Phonebook menu is displayed.2 Press to select Favorite Num.• The Favorite Number screen shows the name of the currently assignedFavorite Number.3 Press and hold to erase the name, then enter your new name andpress (OK).4 Press and hold to erase the number, then e nter the phone numberyou want to assign to the Favorite Number key and press (OK).• Your new name and number replace the previous assignment.
