Otherwise, it mayfail to initialize and may cause malfunction.IMPORTANT:• When the camera is initialized, the settings including the network settings will be initialized.Note that the preset position settings and the CRT key (SSL encryption key) used for theHTTPS protocol will not be initialized.① INITIAL SET switch(OFF⇔ON)②Power indicator③Live indicatorSD memory card slot■ Indicators and buttonsUse the INITIAL SET switch to reset the settings of the camera to the default.Step 1Open the water-resistant cap by following steps1-3 of the “Insert an SD memory card” section(☞ page 25).Step 2Move the INITIAL SET switch to the right (ON).• The factory default is OFF.Step 3Move the INITIAL SET switch to the right, andthen turn on the power of the camera. Turn onthe power of the camera and turn off (move it tothe left) the INITIAL SET switch about 15 secondslater. After about 2 minutes the camera will startup and the setting data including network settingdata will be initialized. If it is not initialized, pleasetry again.(If it is initialized properly, the live indicator willrepeat twice the blinking action like blinkingorange → lighting orange → blinking orangeafter the action of lighting orange → turning off.)Step 4Turn off the power of the camera.IMPORTANT:• If the INITIAL SET switch is positioned tothe “ON” side, the camera cannot enterthe normal operation mode. Be sure toreturn the INITIAL SET switch to the“OFF” position.Step 5Return the water-resistant cap and the mainsunshield rear cover to the original state by fol-lowing step 5 of the “Insert an SD memorycard” section (☞ page 26).Step 6Turn on the power of the camera.
