61To send a text message by phone, you must obtainthe number of the SMS centre from your serviceprovider.Receiving a new messageWhen you receive a new message, the new message icon( ) and a notification showing the number of themessage will appear on the display. You will also hear analert, depending on the message sound setting; for furtherdetails, see 5.Profiles -> 2.Message Alert .To read the new message(s) immediately, press the ViewSoft key. The list of the messages appears.Managing memoryInbox and Outbox share a given amount of memory in aSIM card. When the message memory is full, the fullmessage icon ( ) appears. In this case, you cannotreceive any new message. You must delete one or moreold messages to free the memory for new messages usingthe Delete option within the Inbox or Outbox or the DeleteAll option.MessagesTo clear the new message notification on the display, pressthe [Exit] key.
