If theLEDs on the DCEs are not lit, try resetting the powermodule. (Reset the power module by removing the powermodule and then reinstalling it.) If the Power LEDremains red after resetting the power module, you shouldreplace the power module. Do not remove the failedpower module until a replacement power module isavailable. If the power LED is red and the DCEs appear tobe working, schedule maintenance for the power moduleafter peak hours at which time you can try resetting thepower power module and/or replacing it. If the Fan AlarmLED is yellow and the DCEs in the carrier appear to beworking, you may want to schedule maintenance afterpeak hours.If operating in the Independent mode and one of thepower module’s Power LED is red, check the DCEs in thecarrier.• If the LEDs on the DCEs above the power modulesare not lit, try resetting the power module. (Resetthe power module by removing the power moduleand then reinstalling it.) If the Power LED remainsred after resetting the power module, you shouldreplace the power module. Do not remove the failedpower module until a replacement power module isavailable.• If the DCEs appear to be working, schedulemaintenance for the power module after peak hoursat which time you can try resetting the powermodule and/or replacing it.Also in Independent mode, if the Fan Alarm LED isyellow and the DCEs in the carrier appear to be working,you may want to schedule maintenance after peak hours.If operating in the Redundant mode and one of thepower module’s Power LED is red, try resetting the powermodule by removing the power module and thenreinstalling it. If the Power LED remains red, you shouldreplace the power module.In addition, if the Fan Alarm LED is yellow, tryresetting the power module. If the Fan Alarm LEDremains yellow, you should replace the power module.In all modes of operation, if the Power LED is not lit,check the input power source and external fuses beforereplacing the power module. If –48V is present at theinput connector, replace the power module. If –48V is notpresent, check your distribution system.
